This has been a great weekend in terms of entertainment and the entertainment industry. 

This news, though, came as a great surprise. . .and if you're like most people, this good news is a much welcomed surprise. The power of social media informed us that the wonderfully talented and beautiful Jill Scott (also known as 'Jilly-from-Philly) tied the knot this past weekend. Go Jill! I'm SO excited for her.  I've been a long-time fan of hers since the beginning. Remember when "Who Is Jill Scott?" first came out?? Yeah, I was a fan wayyyyy back then. She just keeps getting better and better and better. I don't know how one can improve upon perfection but somehow, some way, she does it. 

I remember seeing her in concerts and EVERY time her voice was just like liquid crystal mixed with liquid silk. It was FASCINATING! In addition to that, Jill Scott is one of my favorite makeup, hair and fashion icons. She's not afraid to "do her." She embraces ALL of who she is and isn't afraid to try new hair, makeup, fashion. She looked flawless in her dress. Her hair and makeup went great with her gown. It wasn't overkill. Both the hair and makeup did EXACTLY what they were supposed do to which is complement.  If you are a soon-to-be-bride, you may want to check out her photos. She gets it right. 

Looking forward to hearing more from her and seeing her do more big things. I'm gonna go ahead and put it out there that one day I'm plan to work with her on some big projects. Somehow, some way.
