There are so many great things that come along with wedding days. One of the best pieces of advice given is take time to enjoy your day because it goes by fast. I know this to be true. Weddings can be enjoyable when you are not trying to do everything yourself. That's a story for another day.
I wanted to touch on a subject that we don't hear much about anymore: bridal portraits. These are really nice for brides. They provide the option to prepare for your big day before it arrives. You can't prepare for everything but what you CAN prepare for, you want to do. In saying that, I love to help brides with bridal portraits.
Bridal portraits give you a great way to see with your own eyes how you photograph in your dress as well as how you look all made up (hair, makeup and accessories included). It's a preview to the wedding day's coming attractions. What better way to see yourself than by doing a shoot like this?
I enjoy these shoots. They allow the bride to be at ease on the day of the actual wedding, especially if she isn't used to being the center of attention.
I had one bride, for example, who wasn't sure of how all of what to expect. I totally get that. It's not an everyday occurrence for most women. She had the option of bridal portraits and wisely accepted. The day of the shoot, we went to the photographer's studio and set up. Not only did I provide makeup, I also provided grooming. Her shoot turned out beautifully and she was really able to see with her own eyes how beautiful she looked.
I believe that once her wedding day came around, she was completely at ease because she had an idea of what to expect. She made a beautiful bride!
Let me help you with your day. It's so much fun and it really sets your mind at ease when all you have to do is relax and be beautiful!.
